These Terms of Service govern your use of the Small Biz Book Club website at smallbizbook.club, our free live book breakdowns, skills workshops, digital learning library, Circle community, and all related educational content and communications.

These Terms do not apply to any done-for-you services offered through Leverage & Grow. Those services are governed by separate terms provided by Leverage & Grow at the time of purchase.

By accessing our website or participating in any Small Biz Book Club activities, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform or participate in our community.

1. WHO WE ARE

Small Biz Book Club is an educational business growth community founded by Shaun Lewis. We provide free weekly live book breakdowns, skills workshops, and a digital library of business growth resources for small business owners.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using Small Biz Book Club, you confirm that you:

Are at least 18 years of age

Are using our platform for lawful business or educational purposes

Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

Are not prohibited from using our services under any applicable law

3. COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP

Small Biz Book Club community membership through Circle is currently free. By joining, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your account

Maintain the security of your account credentials

Not share your account access with others

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines at any time without prior notice.

4. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Small Biz Book Club is a professional growth community. All members are expected to engage with integrity, respect, and a genuine commitment to business growth. By participating in our community, you agree not to:

Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or irrelevant links

Harass, demean, or disrespect other members in any way

Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information

Reproduce or distribute any community content without written permission

Impersonate any person, business, or entity

Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the community experience

Use the community to solicit other members for competing products or services without prior approval

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate removal from the community without notice or refund of any paid products.

5. LIVE SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS

Small Biz Book Club hosts free weekly live book breakdowns and skills workshops via Riverside.fm and other streaming platforms. By attending, you acknowledge that:

Sessions may be recorded and made available for replay

Your name and likeness may appear in recordings if your camera is on

Session recordings may be repurposed for educational content, social media, or products

We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any session at any time

6. DIGITAL LEARNING LIBRARY

Our Learn page contains paid digital products including book breakdown recordings and skills workshop replays. For any paid digital products:

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds once access has been granted.

You are purchasing a personal, non-transferable license to access the content

You may not reproduce, resell, share, or distribute any purchased content

Access is for individual use only

If you experience a technical issue preventing access to a product you purchased, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on smallbizbook.club — including but not limited to written content, videos, graphics, session recordings, frameworks, slide decks, and the Small Biz Book Club name and logo — is the intellectual property of Small Biz Book Club and Shaun Lewis.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission

Use our name, logo, or branding without prior written approval

Create derivative works based on our content

Present our content as your own in any format or medium

We respect the intellectual property of others. Book breakdowns reference third-party books for educational purposes only. We are not affiliated with the authors or publishers of any books we cover unless explicitly stated.

8. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By joining Small Biz Book Club or registering for any session or resource, you consent to receive email communications from us. These may include session reminders, weekly content, community updates, and information about Small Biz Book Club products.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional communications related to your account or purchases.

9. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

Small Biz Book Club uses third-party platforms to deliver its community and content experience including Leverage & Grow & Riverside.fm. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Small Biz Book Club is not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party platform.

10. DISCLAIMERS

Educational purposes only. All content provided by Small Biz Book Club — including live sessions, workshops, book breakdowns, and digital products — is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing we share constitutes legal, financial, accounting, or professional advice.

No guaranteed results. Business growth requires consistent action, execution, and individual effort. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, revenue results, or business performance based on participation in our community or consumption of our content.

Content accuracy. We make every effort to provide accurate and current information. However, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content on our platform.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Small Biz Book Club, Shaun Lewis, and any affiliated parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, community, content, or services.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Small Biz Book Club shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 90 days prior to the claim — or $100, whichever is greater.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Small Biz Book Club, Shaun Lewis, and all affiliated parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our platform.

13. RELATIONSHIP DISCLOSURE

Small Biz Book Club and Leverage & Grow are sister companies operated under shared leadership. Small Biz Book Club may reference or recommend Leverage & Grow services within its community and content. These recommendations may reflect a business relationship between the two entities. Participation in Small Biz Book Club does not obligate you to purchase any Leverage & Grow service.

14. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Texas
